We believe in using ingredients that are as fresh as possible, that food should be delish and there is much fun to be had in trying something new. We love local fresh produce from the farm, our seafood fresh from the markets and are spoilt with our cellar full of Granite Belt Wines.
You can try your choice of chicken, burgers, pork, seafood or our damn fine steak. Setting off the relaxed atmosphere is the lounge and deck area, ideal to meet up with friends before dinner.
Chef Aaron Clews moved here in May, 2017. The cold fresh air, and the beauty of the Autumn leaves, from the day he came here, he knew he didn’t want to leave. The access to a wide range of local produce was exciting. But even more exciting was the number of people who have a huge passion for food in the area; chefs, bakers, cheesemakers, winemakers, farmers and growers of all things delicious. He arrived at the Steakhouse with a small personal collection of local olive oils, cheeses, jams and relishes.
Our team are young, innovative and excited to be playing with the local fresh produce while being passionate about food. Aaron is known for arriving into the kitchen with a collection of local products he has been able to access or even just some fresh goodies straight off the lemon tree or freshly picked rosemary or lavender. Our fresh herb garden out the back of the kitchen is growing thyme, mint, oregano, rosemary and lavender with a wishlist of more to be added.
