What’s new at the Steakhouse
There is a chill in the air and that first frost is just around the corner, perfect for enjoying a local glass of wine by the fire, before or after your dinner at the Steakhouse. The renovated lounge bar area has proven to be very popular with locals and tourists alike, and the kids corner with the DVD’s and colouring in books is keeping the younger ones entertained so mum and dad can relax.

This month also sees the introduction of the new Autumn/Winter menu & includes all those winter favourites plus a couple of twists with a few new dishes. For something new why not try the:

Crispy skinned Northern Territory Wild Barra with parsley gnocchi, zucchini flowers with a macadamia & dill pesto or
Slow roasted Pork Belly with cauliflower puree, roasted baby vegetables and a caramelised apple vincotto
Apple & Pear Crumble topped with a coconut, almond and oat crumble and served with rhubarb coulis and pear cider ice-cream.

Also with the colder weather, the Sunday Big Breakfast is getting busier so book ahead for a seat. For you coffee lovers, they always make sure there is either perculated local coffee or the cappucino machine is on, & there is enough to tempt everyone with bacon, eggs, mushrooms, cereal, toast, fresh local fruit, gourmet yoghurt and herbal teas. They also have soy milk and gluten free bread on hand as required.
