I have stayed in a number of places in Stanthorpe and all are generally very good, however this is the only motel with a licensed restaurant – the restaurant is exceptionally good, the food is magic, the service was 1st class and I could not fault the accommodation. The rooms are small, however well appointed, warm with high quality, reverse cycle air-conditioners (quiet) – I have noted a couple of previous reviews where comments were made regarding check-in – I could not disagree more. I was greeted warmly, shown to my room and advised of the meal times. High-quality linen and designer style soaps and shampoos – pretty impressive – will certainly stay here again – I reckon this pretty much a first-class establishment

Me and my brother were in a business trip we’ve stayed at many motels before but High Street Motor Inn was probably the best place were stayed over night. Staff are absolutely lovely and the room was very very clean. Loved it. 10/10 would recommend.

Our family of four enjoyed two nights in the family room of a double bed with singles either side. The A/C kept us warm and, once we worked out how to work it, was lovely and quiet overnight. I recommend you book dinner at Steak House on Saturday night before you arrive or you will miss out like we did. Sunday breakfast was lovely, especially those parmasen topped tomatoes. Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff was happy to help with any request, ie extra Wi-Fi passwords for all four of us, a cheese platter late Sunday afternoon etc. This was our second visit and they just keep getting better each time. Can’t wait until next time!

Thank you for making our stay comfortable,the staff are friendly and very helpful. We drove from Brisbane and had no problem parking and left our car while we did a winery tour. Breakfast was most enjoyable before setting of home.Would highly recomend and will stay again.
