We look forward to welcoming groups to the Granite Belt region once the COVID-19 restrictions begin to ease. We have just released a bonus for any group/coach bookings booked by 20 Sep – Book 10 rooms and get your 11th for free or book 20 rooms and only pay for 18. Meals included. Stanthorpe is a beautiful region for exploring whether you have a day, or 6 to fill. We love assisting groups with their itinerary whether you travel by coach, car or motorbike. Shannon and Shaun are involved witha number of car & bike groups and are enjoy popping together itineraries. Shaun has also hosted the DGR in Stanthorpe over the last 6 years finding a number of beautiful back roads for the group to travel. Corporate Rates

High Street Motor Inn has introduced rates including Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for workers coming to Stanthorpe. This is available 7 nights a week and can be booked on our website. Breakfast: Continental Buffet (choose the day of or day before and then dine in your room.) Includes Cereal, Fruit, Toast, Juice, Danishes, Yoghurt and pancakes/crumpet/muffins) Lunch: With an account at Foxy’s Bakery and Zest, you can choose your choice of lunch and pick-up from 6am. Dinner: The Steakhouse is offering Room-Service 5 nights a week (Tues-Saturday) and then we offer take-away/delivery from a selected restaurant on Sunday/Monday evenings. Steakhouse Re-Opening

Very excited to see the Steakhouse doors reopen this Saturday 16th May. We will have 2 sittings, one at 5:30pm and the other at 7pm with a limit of 10 patrons per seating. Where will you be this New Years Eve?

Why not join the Steakhouse this year for a rip roaring 1920’s gangster murder mystery dinner. The evening consists of a three course dinner, with a tasty tapa’s plate to start off with, your choice of our signature Reef & Beef with our black angus steak, or their seafood platter with Salt & Pepper Squid, Prawns, Oysters & Beer Battered fish or for something new, why not try their chicken breast filled with pistacio stuffing and wrapped in prosciutto. The perfect way to end the meal is with a sampling dish of desserts to share or have all to yourself. All this yummy food together with lots of murder, bribery and back stabbing. What’s on at the Steakhouse Complimentary Cob loaf is back for the month of November. All you have to do is make sure you are a VIP member before arriving for dinner. October Deals

Spring has well and truly sprung and the Steakhouse’s new Spring menu is proving to be a hit. Shaun and Shannon decided to add some delicious native Australian ingredients to their menu including Kakadu plums, Mountain pepperberry, Australian bush tomatoe’s, macadamia’s as well as local produce including handmade cheese, mushrooms, and apples. The mountain pepper berry has been crusted on lamb rump and served with creamy mash potato, wilted greens and jus on the side. Some of the tempting options are pictured including Poached pear in red wine & cinnamon with whipped cream and anglaise or why not try the handmade pork & fig spring rolls entree with a lemon and honey dipping sauce? Christmas Party Menu’s have been popped together for that season is arriving soon. September Happenings

NEW SPRING MENU:  The Steakhouse is looking forward to the warmer weather as well as all the yummy local fruit and vegetables that starts to become available over the next couple of months.  Their new spring menu is having it’s finishing touches added and includes some classic ‘Aussie’ ingredients including Lemon Myrtle, Wattle Seed & Bush Tomatoe’s as well as some new ideas such as Tasmanian Mountain Pepper & Paperbark. July Update

Thank you Stanthorpe SES After a mini tornado tore apart the High Street Motor Inn late last year, a long road to restoration lay ahead. Thanks to the volunteers at the State Emergency Service, the motel was back in operation in time for the Apple & Grape Festival. To show their gratitude, the owners of the High Street Motor Inn presented the local SES with $2000 at their open day event. Albert Piper on behalf the Stanthorpe SES collected the two cheques on the day – one for $1000 from the raffle tickets in the Steakhouse and $1000 from Rotary Stanthorpe. This donation enabled the SES unit to procure the purchase of latest technology lighting which is portable and safer for use in storm conditions, search & rescuse along with other multiple uses. What’s new at the Steakhouse There is a chill in the air and that first frost is just around the corner, perfect for enjoying a local glass of wine by the fire, before or after your dinner at the Steakhouse. The renovated lounge bar area has proven to be very popular with locals and tourists alike, and the kids corner with the DVD’s and colouring in books is keeping the younger ones entertained so mum and dad can relax. This month also sees the introduction of the new Autumn/Winter menu & includes all those winter favourites plus a couple of twists with a few new dishes.
